Meeting regularly with a small group of other internationals and US American volunteers is a great way to learn more about Unites States culture and daily life. We also address larger life topics and the associated challenges we all face day-to-day.
Opportunities for small group Bible study are also available and provide a foundation for building deeper and more meaningful friendships. These friendships can enrich your life and contribute to your sense that Cincinnati can be a new home for you. No prior knowledge of the Bible is necessary.
Weekly gatherings almost always include eating a meal together and may include get-to-know-you activities, games, current events and other topics for discussion, singing and discovering what the Bible has to tell us about life. Please notice that we have a special weekly meeting for women.

Interact while investigating interesting cultural and life issues

Experience enjoyable events and explore educational places together
Each Friday evening we meet to get to know one another and enjoy a home-cooked meal. Then we identify some US American English idioms and expressions and share about US American holidays. We have interactive discussions about US and world cultural issues. And we address some of life’s big questions that really matter. We plan educational and fun group outings, events or trips every 4 to 6 weeks.

Women’s Discovery Bible Study

Synopsis: We welcome women from all nations who want to get to know one another, increase culture and language proficiency and discover truth for guiding our lives. We read and discuss portions of the Bible together.
