Telling Fact from Fiction

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Get a taste of the LIFE Group with this special open discussion night!

In recent history, we’ve heard the term “fake news,” which highlights the reality that not everything someone says, reports, writes, or claims is necessarily true- not even if they have an advanced degree, or are a reporter. So how does one know what to believe on the news, in social media, or even in our textbooks or classrooms?

In this online gathering, we’ll look at some examples and learn some potential options for checking facts and uncovering fiction.

We’ll begin with a 20-30 minute presentation, followed by 45-60 minutes of small group discussion.

We’ll send you a Zoom link after you register.
